About us

Martin & Co Stoke-on-Trent is a locally owned Lettings and Estate Agency, with offices in the centre of Hanley and Newcastle under Lyme town centre.

We employ a team of 14 people, who have in excess of 100 combined years of experience in Property Sales, Lettings and Investment and property management.

Unlike many agents, we understand that the needs of a customer wanting to sell their home, and a landlord or investor are very different, and we have therefore invested in key staff who have specialist knowledge of lettings or sales.

This specific knowledge is particularly important for our landlords with the increasing regulation and mounting legal obligations as the government seeks to raise the quality of the private rented sector in the UK in 2015 alone we have we saw a plethora of legislation with serious consequences for Landlords that don t comply, This trend continues in 1016/17 .using the right agent and getting the right advice is more important now than ever before.

Because we value our staff, and know that our investment in their skills will deliver a better service to our customers, we are constantly investing in the training and development of our team, we make extensive use of the Martin and Co training academy and additionally a number of staff are NFOPP qualified

Continuous investment for the benefit of our customers is core to our business. Whilst we are locally owned, with Mark running the business on a day to day basis, we are also part of the Martin and Co group, a large national chain with almost 300 offices across the UK in the group. This gives us all the benefits of nationwide marketing and websites, investment in technology and enables us to operate the latest industry software, and property matching systems.

We offer free valuations of properties for sale, market appraisals of existing rental properties and portfolio transfers, and advice on buying potential rental properties and their potential return, and on building a property investment portfolio. We are also have a great track record in letting and managing new build student accommodation in the Stoke on Trent and Newcastle under Lyme areas.
