PLENTY OF NEW PROPERTIES!
Here at Martin & Co Letting Agents based in Yeovil and Sherborne we are certainly seeing Spring Blooming in the property rentals and lettings business! In the last couple of weeks over the Easter holidays we have taken record numbers of new instructions from prospective Landlords and are finding lots of customers who are coming to us seeking a higher standard of service levels than they are currently receving from their present letting agent.
We pride ourselves at Martin & Co on offering award winning levels of customer service - we are currently waiting to hear if we have won the ESTAs (Estate and Letting Agents Awards) for the South West (East) region. These are awards where we have been rated by all our Landlords on our service levels, so the award really means something if we can win. Just being shortlisted is amazing and Emma and Pete Higgins, the owners of Martin & Co Yeovil are very much looking forward to meeting Phil Spencer of Location Location Location fame at the award ceremony in London on the 9th May!
From a property perspective, as a Landlord you might now want to be thinking about how your tenants have looked after your property over the last winter period, particularly since we've had such a wet and windy one! Your tenancy agreement should state that the tenants must look after the garden, but it might be a reasonable assumption that the extreme weather has caused lawns and fences to not look their best this spring. Here at Martin & Co, one of the key areas we look at when doing our management inspections is the exterior of the property - the guttering, window frames, garden maintenance and fences etc - to ensure that the property is not deteriorating cosmetically whilst the tenants are living there.
Why not give us a call to hear more about how we can look after your property for you, on 01935 420555, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or come see us at our office in Princes Street, Yeovil.
