We get quite a lot of enquiries regarding this question and the simple answer is it depends on your target market. A furnished property is usually aimed at individuals who aren't going to have many belongings such as postgraduate students moving into the area for a year or so. Whereas an unfurnished property might be best suited to professional sharers or families. However, it must also be noted that some families and sharers might want a furnished property to save on moving costs or having to spend money buying their own.

 

If you do decide to furnish your property be aware that you are responsible for the safe working of the item (e.g. PAT testing white goods etc.).
