UK Landlords Requiring More Specialist Lettings Advice

UK Landlords Requiring More Specialist Lettings Advice

Research shows that buy-to-let Landlords are increasingly in need of specialist lettings advice to help them cope with rapidly changing legislation.

A report from buy-to-let mortgage provider Paragon has highlighted that approximately 80% of landlords have a significant requirement for advice on landlord matters, with nearly 50% of landlords claiming that they're finding it difficult to keep up with the current pace of changing legislation in the UK rental market.

Even many experienced landlords who have been renting property for years are struggling to quickly adapt to new challenges, as the governments pays closer attention to the private rented sector, and seeks to impose greater obligations on landlords and letting agents.

More Landlords choose to use a Specialist Letting Agent

The report highlights the value of using a specialist letting agent to help landlords navigate the ever more complicated and regulated lettings landscape. It is therefore no surprise that more and more previously private landlords are recognising the benefits of instructing a reputable, qualified and regulated letting agent to assist them in meeting current and future legal requirements.
