Time is Money - How time has affected the prices of the property market

We all know that the property market is on the up and has been for some time. However, how long has it been this way?

Think back to the year 2000 – 20 years ago. How much did the average property sell for in Plymouth? It’s less than you may think. £58,657 bought you the average property in England’s Ocean City.

Now, in January 2020, a property sells for the average asking price of £194,882 – you do not need me to say that that is a rather sizeable difference.

There has never been a better time to get your property on the market. Come in and speak with your local property experts at Martin & Co Plymouth, or give us a call on 01752 255255.
