Thame is a vibrant market town, situated east of Oxford and close to the Buckinghamshire border offering a plentiful range of independent shops, as well as a Waitrose, Boots pharmacy and more. There is a wide range of seasonal events including the food festival, the arts and literature festival and a Christmas fair. A market is held every Tuesday and good selection of restaurants and pubs can be found open all year round . The town and nearby villages have a variety of sport and leisure clubs, societies, churches, parks with children’s activities, as well as local walks and nature reserves, such as the Cuttle brook. 

Thame’s history can be seen walking through the high street; a variety of period buildings illustrating a variety of architecture through the centuries. Thame Museum is an enjoyable must-see gem for all the family. Road links are easily accessible including the M40 to London and Birmingham and A40 to Oxford. Haddenham & Thame Parkway train station is nearby, from which London Marylebone can be reached within 34 minutes. This quintessential rural market town is considered by many as a jewel in the home counties property market.
