The housing market in 2020 has been unexpectedly strong: for the first time in modern history house prices have risen during a recession. There have been predictions of house price rises of 4% in 2021 followed by a 5% increase in 2022, making NOW the right time to buy before the housing market becomes unobtainable. If the long term predictions are correct in 5 years' time the average price of a UK home will rocket from £230,920 today to £279,644!
