The National Landlords Association (NLA) is the main sponsor for the 6th annual Bournemouth and Poole Landlord Conference entitled “Residential Letting in a Changing Environment”.
Richard Lambert, chief executive officer at the NLA, will open the conference along with representatives of the Local Housing Authorities to welcome delegates, giving them an overview of what they can expect throughout the day.
The conference is an ideal opportunity for landlords, prospective landlords, letting agents and property managers to share information and find out more about current local initiatives and good practice in the private rented sector.
There will be informative seminars throughout the day covering a range of subjects including financial advice, the Green Deal and the impact of Universal Credit.
There will also be a host of exhibitors offering their expert advice and various products.
Steve Bartlett, the NLA local representative for Dorset, who will present a seminar on what benefits an NLA member receives said: “The NLA is delighted to be the main sponsor of this year’s conference and we welcome all visitors.
“We work closely with all the Dorset local authorities because we share a common objective of ensuring the private rented sector is safe, of a good standard and well managed by landlords who are fully informed of their legal responsibilities.
“The exhibitors and seminars at the conference will provide a huge amount of information covering all aspects of the private rented sector.”
The conference is on Thursday 10 October and is being held at AFC Bournemouth’s Goldsands Stadium, Dean Court, BH7 7AF, starting at 10am.
Admittance is free and open to all landlords. For more information on the conference and its speakers and exhibitors call 01202 451430.
