Landlords asked to contribute to evictions survey

The Residential Landlords’ Association (RLA) is asking members and private rented sector professionals to take part in a Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) run survey exploring the current eviction process and how to improve the procedure for private landlords.

The RLA is part of a working group with the DCLG, central government and other PRS professionals looking into how the eviction process could be improved.

This survey comes well timed after housing charity Shelter last week attacked private landlords regarding evictions, something that RLA chairman Alan Ward has argued against.

The RLA knows from calls received by the Landlord Advice Team (LAT) that landlords are often frustrated by the eviction process. This survey gives you an important opportunity to voice your opinions to central government.
