August Review

August Review

What an August we had!  With the aftermath of the Euros 2012 which took place in July and the mammoth build-up to the Olympic and Para-Olympic Games, August was set to be the sporting month of the Century for Great Britain.

Unfortunately, this did see the property market in Yeovil and across the country as a whole become extremely quiet as people were out and about on their summer holidays or watching sport at the many exciting venues across the country and not thinking about moving home!

That said, here at Martin & Co Yeovil we continued to turn over properties and successfully let a number of properites in and around South Somerset & West Dorset during this traditionally quiet month.

August was also the opportunity for some good old-fashioned office organisation as the quiet period gave Emma and Rebecca the chance to reflect on the 3 month's of business they had done so far since opening at the end of April, and to put into place improved routines and processes to ensure the continued exemplary standards of customer service they had been delivering.

It also gave them the chance to continue reaching out to local Landlords and property owners, and spreading the word about the 'Let it Fast Let it Free' and 'Martin Means Nothing to Me' campaigns which aim to offer great value for money and peace of mind to Landlords in the South Somerset & West Dorset area.

In particular, the Yeovil Letting Agency has started the 'Martin Means Nothing to Me' campaign which sees 0% management fee charged to all new Landlords who transfer their property portfolio to Martin & Co management for the first 3 MONTHS of the contract.  By transferring Landlords can expect:

Great value for money;

   - No 'hidden costs' e.g. added percentages to contractor invoices;

   - The very best personalised service;

   - Good quality, fully referenced tenants.

Finally, Martin & Co Yeovil Letting Agents would like to congratulate all our local West Country Olympians and Para-Olympians for doing us proud and keeping as all glued to our televisions during August!
