Mayor of Wokingham opens new Martin & Co office

The Mayor of Wokingham Borough, Cllr Parry Batth, visited the new office to mark the official opening of Martin & Co Wokingham. He met the new team and listened with interest to the history of the grade two listed property.

Erica Townend said, “We're so excited to be opening an office in Wokingham and thrilled that the Mayor of Wokingham Borough has agreed to visit us on this occasion. We have a great team on board and delighted to be situated in a beautiful listed building on Peach Street that has been in the Bowyer family for over 100 years.†

The Worshipful the Mayor of Wokingham Borough Cllr Parry Batth, said “Wokingham is embarking on a new period of growth and regeneration. Over the next few years, more than 13,000 new homes will be built in planned development, which will bring with it about £350million investment in infrastructure and facilities such as new schools, roads, shops, nature reserves and community centres. The opening of a new Martin & Co office will add greatly to the town and I'm sure will offer an excellent service to local residents.â€
