With winter just around the corner, now is the ideal time to ensure your central heating system and gas boiler are working correctly. During the Summer months the pump and diverter valve that circulate fluids around the hot water cistern and radiators can become seized up, we would therefore suggest that you run your central heating system on full power.
Check to see that all radiators have heated correctly, if any are hot at the top but only warm at the bottom then it is likely there is trapped air in the system and the radiator needs bleeding. Please ensure that the heating is turned off prior to bleeding any radiator.
