As hopefully most of you will know by now, my husband Trevor and I took over from Eric and Sue Milburn in the last quarter of 2013.

Since we took over last year we have been focussing very hard on putting new processes in place to deliver a more efficient service to meet your needs and desires.  We believe we have already improved a number of areas and if you have not already noticed the difference, we hope you soon will.

We have been passionate about delivering excellent customer service ever since the early days of our careers; we met at an American computer start-up company which was an energetic and dynamic company with an unbelievably strong customer service ethic; Our aim was for every customer to be willing to act as a positive reference for our products and service.

We are aiming at the same objective for Martin and Co Staines. We want to achieve a level of service such that every landlord and tenant is able to give a positive response when asked ‘are Martin and Co  doing a good job for you?’

Of course,  delivering high levels of service and customer satisfaction is not possible without excellent individuals on your staff, so we have also been recruiting hard since we took over adding a couple of new faces to the team that we took over from Eric and Sue.

First our new negotiator, Doreen Rose, who started with us in November.  Doreen has spent 14 years in the lettings business in a variety of different roles , initially with Townends but more recently  with Chancellors in Sunbury. She is ARLA certified.  Doreen will ensure that your property is let quickly to the right tenants and provide a calm, but efficient interface to our growing number of landlords.

The second addition to our team is Maria Ginex who cut her teeth at Countrywide in property management and more recently worked at Campsie in Windsor managing a very large portfolio.  She is ruthlessly efficient and an excellent communicator with landlords, contractors and the rest of our team.  She comes from a family of builders so has the background to really understand what is going on with your property and any work needed.

Rebecca Wilshire,  Lynn Parramore and Jack Ingram remain from the old team.  Becky provides the essential administration and lettings coordination needed in a busy office.  Lynn stays on as our ‘super sub’ covering holidays and busy times as well as a couple of regular slots every week to provide continuity.  Jack, a postgrad at Royal Holloway makes sure we stay on top of what students need as well as providing an extra pair of hands at busy times.

And last, but hopefully by no means least, Trevor and I round up the team.
