According to research conducted by the Halifax, terraced housing has seen a rise in value greater than any other property category. The researchn saw that terraced housing value has risen by 68% over the past 10 years.


This rise of 68% equates to roughly £118 per week rise. Since 2001 the average cost of a terraced house has risen by £60000, compared to the average home in the UK which has seen a rise of 53%. Combined with the fact that they cost, on average 15% less than the UK average and a massive 45% less than a detached house means they are extremely affordable properties.
