It is no secret that currently the sales market is not performing as well as in previous years and that we are all anticipating when the cyclical boom will come back in to play. As letting agents we have built great relationships with many landlords and tenants; some of which have had their current situation dictated by the recent housing market. Certain landlords are renting out properties they would rather sell but are conforming to general market practice, as lettings are outperforming sales; conversely many tenants are forced to rent due to the economic climate preventing them from gaining mortgage acceptance. When the sales market recovers it could leave us as Letting Agents in a vulnerable position as we could see a mass exodus of great tenants and landlords who are looking to buy and sell. Hopefully this will not be the case, however we have found a solution which allows you to buy or sell a property whilst maintaining your relationship with us.
We are excited to announce that we will be entering the sales market! This by no means will be an overnight change but a worthwhile change that will be slowly introduced towards the latter half of the year. As you may now already be aware here at Martin & Co we like to do things a little differently to other agents and there will be no change with our attitude towards sales. We plan to break the mould and offer you a range of options not currently seen in sales market across the Rotherham Borough. We will be taking a totally fresh approach offering a unique fee structure which is perfect for the motivated seller alongside the more recognised traditional method, aiming to providing you with the choice to find the sales method which is right for you!! This is an exciting prospect and one we are eager to get in motion ready for when the sales market recovers.
