Martin & Co win gold at the ESTAS 2012

Lettings franchise brand Martin & Co fought off stiff competition to scoop gold for Best Large Letting chain and secured 11 regional awards at the ESTAS. This is the second time Martin & Co have won gold at these awards, previously winning in 2009 and silver in 2010 and 2011.

 

In addition to the regional and national awards, two Martin & Co offices collected an individual award and the Grand Prix Award for Best Letting Agent in the UK.

 

Carole Bazzoni, Martin & Co Franchise Owner of the Andover office received a highly commended trophy for coming in the top five for the Individual Award which recognises individual excellence based on feedback from her own landlords.

 

Martin & Co Haywards Heath & Burgess Hill came away with gold for the Grand Prix Award for Best Letting Agent in the UK. This recognises the top three agents across the UK so this West Sussex business secured the highest number of votes and quality scores from all the letting agent entries.

 

This is the third time Martin & Co have been listed in this category in four years.

 

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst landlords who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 33,000 votes were received making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry and recognising the best agents in the business.

 

“This award means a lot to Martin & Co and our offices as it is voted for by landlords. The amount of effort in obtaining this feedback from our landlords is not to be under-estimated and to have this number of offices shortlisted is just fantastic news. It is really important to recognise  not only the offices that secured regional recognition, but many others took part and their results were invaluable in contributing to our national gold award,” commented Ian Wilson, Managing Director.

 

“Throughout the letting industry there is a constant need to improve customer service and these are the only awards that recognise just that. Word of mouth and customer satisfaction are powerful marketing tools. A big thank you to all our landlords who completed a questionnaire as without their feedback we would not have generated these results,” added Ian.

 

The awards were hosted by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert, at a luncheonceremony in London and were attended by 550 of the UK’s top estate and letting agents.
