Plymouth is a beautiful city with varying boroughs and areas, all with their individual benefits. The other day, this caught me wondering – what is the most moved to area of Plymouth that we moved in in the first quarter of 2020?
For the sake of clarity, I will be referring to the lets between 1st January 2020 and 31st March 2020. Our lettings team have been tirelessly working away throughout this quarter and have subsequently hit record numbers for the year so far. In total, we have let 138 properties so far this year. This is, of course, all down to the immense hard work put in by our Abi and her fantastic team.
Rather unsurprisingly, the postcode of PL4 was the area where most of our new tenants moved in. An incredible 49 properties have been let in this postcode area, which covers from Mutley, stretching all the way down to the River Plym. Easy access to local amenities and the city centre attracts many tenants to this area of Plymouth.
PL1 and PL2 take the podium positions, having 49 and 15 properties let so far this year respectively. PL1 is the right in the central, bustling hub of Plymouth and includes the famous Hoe. PL2 has Morice Town, Pennycross, and Stoke Village as part of its area.
