On Sunday 30th June, Andrew Lester, Sales Negotiator at Martin & Co Manchester Whitefield takes on the challenge of climbing Snowdonia, the highest mountain in the British Isles, in aid of a local charity.
His chosen charity, Derian House is a local children’s hospice that provides extensive support for families who have a child with a shortening life, and for families in need of bereavement support.
The charity is very close to Andrew, who has been active in raising money for the trust before. He commented that: “The reason we have decided to do the walk is because a close family member has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and the Macmillan nurses now have no funding to continue their home visits. A group of us decided to raise money for cancer charities close to their hearts to help make a difference”
Andrew has been an active and successful part of the Martin & Co Whitefield business within the dynamic sales team. The office prides itself on delivering a consistently high service within the sales and lettings departments, since the doors opened nearly five years ago.
Martin & Co UK Ltd Managing Director Ian Wilson comments that: “its great to see our staff across the country giving back to their local communities and showing the importance of charity”
