I was recently talking to an investor about his property at Roberts Wharf, a one bedroom apartment, unfurnished but beautifully presented. He was telling me he advertises the apartment at £565.00pcm because that’s what he always gets.
This is a more common statement than you would imagine that I hear. I asked him “ Do your running costs remain the same each year?” The answer was as you would expect, no. I therefore re appraised the apartment, applied better photography and a floor plan to maximise the apartments appeal online and hey presto, the landlord had a twelve month tenancy at £650pcm.
