Leeds Indie Food Festival

Leeds Indie Food Festival

Leeds has very much been on a roll when it comes to food.  Leeds has finally taken Manchester crown and became recognised as the food capital of the north. The Indie Food Festival only contributes to this. This year there is set to be more fun than ever with most of the events already well booked up. The organisers of the event offer a passport, a way in which visitors are able to get discounted food and drink from the different locations which are taking place. Make sure that you collect your stamps on the way around, they make for a great momentum.

This year is very much similar to last year's set up in the way that there will be different businesses taking part in which lots of events will be held at each place weather this be donut tasting or latte art battles there is something for everyone.

We spoke with Masterchef finalist Tom Rennolds and his girlfriend Charlotte Lampkin to ask them what they are most looking forward to in the Indie Food Festival. Charlotte said: "We are definitely looking forward to Bundoblast! This has great food and cocktails without having to spend a fortune. We will also be heading up to the Belgrave Fest and other events that take out fancy, which will be quite a few. Unfortunately we weren't quick enough to get tickets for the Five-Course Donut and Beer Matching Dinner."
