Landlords in Hinckley and Leicestershire can win prizes and guidance on tax by participating in new online survey from Martin & Co
A recent survey revealed that 40 per cent of landlords are planning on extending their investment portfolio by at least one extra property this year. Alongside the initial costs of buying the property, the survey revealed that landlords next biggest concern is the tax implications both on their investment income and when disposing of a property.
In a bid to save property investors around the country money on their tax bill, the UK’s largest property franchise, Martin & Co, has teamed up with the tax experts at Tax Insider to produce an exclusive 15-page guide. Tax Insider has been providing tax advice to property investors for over eight years and has successfully saved landlords money by educating them on tax planning, reliefs and exemptions and ensuring that investors don’t fall into tax traps.
Steve Chadwick, Franchisee/Director at Martin & Co Hinckley said: “Many landlords wishing to increase their portfolio of properties view it as a long term investment, not just with initial rental income but also future capital gain. This guide is a useful tool to any landlord who is concerned about the tax implications before they purchase their next property.”
Investors who identify their best tax position before they purchase their next investment can save hundreds and in some cases, thousands of pounds. So investment experts created the free guide ‘Knowing Your Property Tax Strategy’, which is being offered to landlords who take part in Martin & Co’s Big Landlord Survey.
The Big Landlord Survey is the brand’s largest survey to date and aims to give the company valuable insights into landlords all across the country. Keen to keep their pulse on the local property market, the results will allow the company to continue developing services and products directly tailored to property investors needs.
Landlords all across the UK are being invited to participate in the survey, and answer a variety of questions ranging from the size of their portfolio to their property concerns and future investment plans. The survey takes less than five minutes to complete and can be answered on both desktop and mobile devices. Property Investors will be entered into a prize draw in which they have a chance to win an iPad Mini, Amazon and Love 2 Shop vouchers or a copy of ‘Why Property Works’ by property investor and mentor, Hazel De Kloe.
Landlords looking to save money and be in with a chance to win an iPad Mini or a range of other prizes should visit www.martinco.com/BLS. Landlords have until midnight on the 15 June to take part.
