According to figures from Zoopla.co.uk over the last 12 months the average property in East Grinstead has increased in value by £570.88 per week, the average increase in Horsham was £548.30 per week. It must be remembered that these figures are an average and some post code areas have experienced much higher increases than others. However the figures show the general trend of the last year has been the return of the property market to the values seen in 2008 and in some places much higher.
Of the three towns that we compared Crawley experienced a lower but more affordable increase that averaged £384.61 per week. The lower increase is not unexpected and confirms that Crawley is still the most affordable area to buy or invest in. There are many locations and properties in the Crawley area that make great investments with good yields and importantly offer good potential for long term growth.
