If you manage your own property don't let tenant emergencies ruin your holiday this Summer!...

...If you are lucky enough to be enjoying a holiday away in these straightened times the last thing you want is your relaxation ruined by a problem call from your tenant, but things inevitably go wrong at the most inconvenient times.

At worst you should provide your tenant with alternative contact details for whilst you are away. A less stressful solution would be to arrange with a friend or relative to take care of things on your behalf or set up a 'homecare'-type insurance with one of the specialist providers such as British Gas.
