Croydon lies on the cusp between fashionable South London and 'stock-broker' Surrey, popular with both young professionals and families. Seen by many as just another London suburb Croydon is actually one of the largest commercial centres in the UK, has a brilliant range of retail outlets and enjoys fantastic communication links both into and out of London. On the outskirts of the town the Green Belt provides lots of walks for nature lovers and there a host of parks and golf courses.
