New Staff Members.
We are delighted to welcome on board two new staff members Simon Baillie and Louise Rankin.
Simon has joined as an Area Manager for all four offices. He has vast experience on the property market, business management and marketing. As an Area Manager, he will be working with both landlords and tenants to ensure landlord’s properties are rented to keep void periods to a minimum and tenants are matched to the appropriate property according to their personal needs. He will advise you on what type of property to buy, where to buy, how much to pay and the level of return you can expect.
Louise has joined as our new Lettings Manager for our Edinburgh Office. Louise has five years experience as a Lettings Manager, managing a team of six. She will conduct market appraisal and provide practical solutions to landlords with regards to achieving a prompt let.

Iain & Nora Sinclair are Managing Director and Director of Cupar, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline, Fife and Edinburgh offices of the UK’s leading specialist lettings agent Martin & Co, have plenty to celebrate after they were named runners up of a top award at the company’s AGM.
Up against stiff competition from right across Martin & Co’s 130+ nationwide network, Iain & Nora were named runners up in the Franchisees of the Year category for consistently achieving a high average number of first lets per month during 2007. They were also named runners up on three other categories including Best Mature Office award and Best Financial Turnover.
They were presented with their award by the company’s founder and chairman, Richard Martin, at a glittering award ceremony held at the luxury Bosworth Hall Hotel in Warwickshire on Saturday, 26th April 2008.
Nora said: “We are absolutely delighted. This award is a tribute to all the hard work that everyone in the office have put in over the past year, and an achievement they can all be very proud of indeed.”
She added, “At heart, successful lettings is all about people, and this award once again proves that at Martin & Co (Fife) we have some of the very best people in the business!”

EDINBURGH EXPANSION FOR MARTIN & CO
FAST growing lettings specialists Martin & Co are building on the success of their offices in Cupar, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline, Fife by expanding operations into Edinburgh.
Franchisee and Managing Director, Iain Sinclair said he was delighted to be adding the Edinburgh office to his business in the other three areas.
Iain added: “The Martin & Co name and brand has become firmly established in Scotland because we offer the highest quality services and customer care as well as ensuring value for money.
