The area

Witney is just 13 miles from Oxford which boasts a diverse cross section of clubs, theatres and student attractions. Witney has great road and bus links to Oxford and London. This gives our residents the flexibility to live in the gorgeous Cotswold countryside with a manageable commute into Oxford or London for work.

There is plenty to do in the area with the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside just a few miles from the town centre. In the centre itself there is a cross section of clubs, restaurants, gastro pubs & bars for all ages. As the area is popular with people who work in Oxford there are a large number of couples and young families looking for properties. As a result, three bedroom houses with a garden are always in high demand because many families have pets and little ones who need somewhere to run around.

Burford & Chipping Norton are highly desirable areas with few rental opportunities & properties commanding high rents. Burford has a number of well known restaurants such as The Bay Tree, The Lamb and The Bear. Nearby Faringdon is a lovely area with its own Leisure Centre and the Carswell Golf Club. Carterton is an area in very high demand because of the influx of families moving to Brize Norton after the closure of the RAF Unit at Lyneham.

The Cotswolds contain some of the most idyllic villages in Britain. Despite the peace and tranquility, each one is a vibrant community with its own individual identity. The Cotswolds are a great attraction for tourists with many visiting the beautiful Cotswold Wildlife Park. The area boasts a number of interesting properties including Chastleton House, a Jacobean Country House next to the idyllic village of Morton-In-Marsh.
