We are understandably proud of our region with its beautiful Northumberland coastline. The area boasts excellent schools, good hospitals, great public transport and is a base for many enterprising technology businesses. Public transport links the locals to Newcastle city centre and the Metro public transport system has fast links to Sunderland city centre. Whitley Bay is on the North-East Coast of England, famous for its award- winning blue flag beaches with golden sands stretching from Cullercoat's bay to St Mary lighthouse. The busy town centre of North Shields has a famous fish quay which provides fresh North Sea seafood to the whole of the North-East.

Tynemouth / Cullercoats is a particularly desirable postcode for families because it is the catchment area for one of the leading North- East public schools, The Kings in Tynemouth Public School.
