The Wakefield office is a family run business which is operated by father and son, Jaspal and Monay. Both are joint franchise owners and have been working in the industry for a number of years. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience within the industry and both of them have a great understanding of the local area.
Debbie is the lettings administrator. Debbie is a vital part of our team and is always available to handle any questions or queries. She is polite and friendly and as well as being extremely organised.
Wakefield is located by the River Calder on the eastern edges of the Pennines, and ten miles from the heart of Leeds. Dubbed the “Merrie City” in the Middle Ages, Wakefield has a rich history. It is home to the site of a battle during the War of the Roses, and was also a Royalist stronghold during the Civil War. Among its many landmarks is the Wakefield Cathedral, which happens to be the tallest Cathedral spire in Yorkshire
Wakefield is an ideal place for families as there are plenty of good schools in the area, including; QEGS Grammer School, which is located in the city centre. As wakefield has only a small city centre, the main area for nightlife is on the Westgate where there is a theatre and a retail park with many restaurants, as well as a cinema. If you want to shop, the Ridings Shopping Centre has recently undergone major refurbishment and a new retail and leisure complex is acting as a catalyst for bringing some of the UK's biggest High Street names to Wakefield for the first time. Europe's largest shopping village, the Junction 32 Outlet Village (formerly Freeport) at Castleford, offers a wide selection of shops including many designer names. Adjoining Junction 32 is the new Xscape development, housing one of the largest indoor real snow ski slopes in Europe. The complex, incorporating an ice climbing wall, multiplex cinema, bowling alley, shops and restaurants under one roof, attracts visitors from all over the country
For transport the train station has direct trains to Leeds and London, and there is easy access to the M1 and M6.
