Lettings Market Overview

Although activity levels have reduced from the height of the summer, there continues to be strong demand for a variety of property, with an increased need for well presented apartments and houses with two or three bedrooms.  David Rogers, Proprietor, confirms "I don’t believe the Tunbridge Wells bubble will burst anytime soon as the draw of excellent schools and fast commuter links to London, coupled with the number of applicants coming into the rental market wishing to buy later when the appropriate property becomes available will always win out."

"These factors mean there is strong demand for well presented and well priced stock.  This high demand has initially driven up rents but as more professional Landlords buy further investment properties, we will see rental growth begin to stabilise.  Rents will always hold firm for a good property and we expect further gradual rental growth over the next five years which should always be considered when increasing your portfolio."
