The Martin and Co Tunbridge Wells office is located at 11 Vale Road TN1 1BS, we are directly opposite Tunbridge Wells railway station and are five minutes’ walk from Royal Victoria Shopping centre.  The office opened in 2009 and continues to go from strength to strength within the local rental market.

 

We work closely with Canterbury and Maidstone Martin and Co offices and are lucky enough to have a great network with many other offices throughout the UK.  This gives us a large database of knowledge and contacts we can always tap into to help our tenants and landlords benefit from the best possible service in helping them either find a home or manage and rent their property.  

The Tunbridge Wells team

 Martin and Co Tunbridge Wells are run by a small, professional and friendly team with many years experience in the property industry; ensuring a high level of service and dedication when dealing with our clients rentals, queries and management issues for Landlord's such as maximizing return on investment and reducing void periods.  We also offer Landlord's a guarantee on the rent for their investment.

 

David is our Lettings Director and a Qualified Building surveyor to CIOB standard.  He has over 24 years experience in the property industry ranging from building houses to sales and letting flats. David has also achieved his NFOPP level 3 in Residential Letting and Property Management (QCF) and has set the wheels in motion to join ARLA

 

Our Property Manager Jackie has 20 years experience within property management, sales and letting of both family houses and flats. She has also achieved her NFOPP level 3  in Residential Letting and Property Management (QCF) and has now a member of ARLA. 

 

Nathalie, our Senior Lettings Administrator, has over 7 years experience in contract work, administration and property management specific to Martin and Co. She has also achieved her NFOPP level 3 in Residential Letting and Property Management (QCF)

 

Victoria our Office Coordinator, has many years  experience within customer care, for Landlords and Tenants as we as office organisational skills. 

 

Complaints process

We are members of the Property Ombudsman Scheme and subscribe to their code of practice. More details can be found at www.tpos.co.uk .

If you are unhappy with the service we have provided and wish to make a formal complaint please write to  Mrs Jackie Rogers,  Manager at Vale Road. Your complaint will be acknowledged and formally investigated.

If you remain unhappy after our formal investigation the matter will be referred to Mr David Rogers, Managing Director for further investigation.

If you are still dissatisfied after our Managing Director has formally replied to you then the matter may be referred to The Property Ombudsman for an independent review and ruling. 

Live and rent in Tunbridge Wells

 

Tunbridge Wells is ideally situated for travel; approximately 20 minutes from the M20 and M25 and right on the A26 and A21.  It has excellent rail links to London Bridge, Charing Cross and Cannon Street taking approximately 50 minutes. There are connecting trains to Gatwick and Ashford International stations and it’s just a one hour drive from Heathrow, Dover and Folkstone.

 

Tunbridge Wells is a buzzy little town which spoils residents with choice!  There are restaurants covering a wide range of cuisines; from Italian at Signor Franco’s where you can dine in a lovely roof top conservatory overlooking the High Street, to Nepalese food at Mooli brought to you from the award-winning team from Oxted's Gurkha Kitchen.  There are gastro pubs such as The Black Pig with a great beer garden and for more fine dining Thackeray’s, a Grade II-listed building of unique character, serving modern French food from 3 AA Rosette Award winning chef Richard Phillips.

 

The schools in Tunbridge Wells are highly sought after within Kent County with some of the best including; Claremont Primary School, The Skinners School, Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School, Tunbridge wells Boys Grammar School and The Judd School which specializes in music.                 

 

This historic spa town hosts music, theatre and comedy events at the Assembly Halls and various other independent venues such as the Forum and Grey Lady Jazz Club. The Enchanted forest is perfect for amusing and exhausting the children!  High Rocks, the common and cricket ground are also popular meeting places for locals to relax and unwind. 

The Pantiles, once the playground of gentry and royalty remains a pleasant place to shop, eat, drink and stroll.  With Farmers Markets, a comprehensive shopping centre and many boutique shops, Tunbridge Wells is a shopper’s delight!

 

There is a huge demand for 3 and 4 bedroom houses situated within the St John's and 'village' area of Tunbridge Wells as this is the perfect location for school catchment areas and commuting professional workers requiring a centrally located house or flat!
