Martin & Co Truro, is first and foremost a family run business which opened its doors in 2006 by husband and wife team, Gareth and Wendy Glover. In this time the company has grown consistently from strength to strength over the years and is complimented by a Lettings Manager, a dedicated Property Manager, Negotiator and two Lettings Co-ordinators.
We are well placed to service the needs of both Landlords and Tenants throughout the whole of Cornwall including, Truro, Falmouth and St Austell and their respective surrounding areas, as we will always have, and are constantly looking for properties to rent and let. As a lettings specialist you will benefit from a focused and dedicated level of service not always readily available elsewhere. We are accredited with ARLA and NFOPP qualifications, a member of The NAEA (The National Assiciation of Estate Agents), NALS (The National Approved Lettings Scheme) the TPO (The Property Ombudsman) for both lettings and Sales. This is a Government approved independent industry ombudsman.

William Gentle - General Manager
Our General Manager holds a wealth of experience and can always offer advice and support to our customers. It is good to know that you can rely on the best advice from the staff whether you are moving into a property or just popping in for some advice on the area or letting in general William will always ensure you get the real take on what to expect and help you negotiate the lettings minefield that can be daunting to new Landlords or Tenants.
Julie Aylward - Negotiator
Julie brings years of experience in lettings across the county to the team. Always happy to help Julie is dedicated to helping tenants find homes! Julie conducts all the viewings in the office and if not found at her desk calling applicants and booking viewings you will see her out and about showing properties. Lisanne Hitchen – Lettings Coordinator
As a Lettings Coordinator, Lisanne fronts the sales floor and is usually the first person you will meet when visiting us at our city centre offices. Lisanne is ideally placed to help you with your enquiry. Lisanne can put together your tenancy contract, process your reference or book an appointment to meet or speak with our Lettings Manager or Negotiator to arrange an appraisal or viewing on a particular property.
James Thom – Property Manager
James is our newest team member but he already has a wealth of customer service experience and knowledge. James’s principle responsibility is to ensure all property management issues from both tenant and landlord are dealt with quickly and effectively to ensure both parties remain happy during tenancy. As well as managing our maintenance department, James also likes to get out and about and carries out our management visits, which gives him an opportunity to get to know our clients tenants and properties better. James is also available to offer expert advice on tenant and landlord contractual obligations during and after the tenancies.
Wendy Glover –Proprietor & Finance Manager
Wendy has over 25 years experience of accounts and finance and because all finance transactions and rental payments are dealt with “in-house” Wendy is always available to offer advice and to answer any questions you may have relating to your tenancy or property. Although an owner of the business Wendy is not involved in any other aspect other than finance but is always happy to direct you to the right person who will be able to help you with any enquiry.
Gareth Glover- Proprietor
Gareth ‘s primary role is to ensure that all of his staff are equipped with all of the training and expert knowledge that they need to carry out their respective roles, whether it be latest changes to legislation, statute law or what is happening within the property industry itself. Often acting as a consultant to various sectors of the building industry and developers, advising on the latest trends, ideas and how they can optimise the return they can expect on their developments. Gareth also monitors the process and procedures within the company, constantly looking to improve our already award winning customer support and to offer the best products.
As you can see we pride ourselves on our professionalism and expertise within the lettings industry and have a dedicated member of staff to deal with each specific aspect of the business, trained in that specific role. That is what makes us a “Lettings Specialist” because that is all we do all day every day.
The historic City of Truro, with the Cathedral at it's heart, is a prime business and property location in Cornwall with a thriving community based on commerce and tourism. We represent a broad scope of property across the length and breadth of Cornwall, which typically range in price from £500pcm to £2500pcm. However, we have, as standard, a particularly strong demand for traditional family homes in and around the City centre up to a radius of 10 miles, comprising 3, 4 & 5 bedrooms, and ideally ranging in price from £750pcm to £1400pcm.
