online agents

An interesting article in "letting Agent today" - really just an advert for a so called on line agent. And an interesting debate after it.

 

I think the question is just what is the agent offering for "from £99" - all they do is put *your photos* online and refer applicants to you. No viewings, no support, no help with anything. We think that is absolutely fine and if that is what you want then we are prepared to offer you the same deal - but with a couple (or so) of FREE bonus items for you.

 

first we will take the photos for you and add the text

second the property will also be on our own portal

third we will reference your prospects - at no cost to you

fourth the property will remain on our website and in our shop window until let.

fifth we will put up a to let board outside your property (if you want it) to make sure that we maximise the reach of the adverts.

 

and unlike with some you wont pay a penny for these so called extras.

 

 

Of course if you want any of the other services - such as accompanied viewings, contracts, or full management we can help there too (and looking at the online version of full management you will probably save a litlle money there as well).

 

The choice of letting agent is of course a highly personal one and everyone has different needs - but if you only want access to the major portals and the steady stream of applicants that this brings you can still get great coffee and a warm welcome here at Martin&Co - and that is something you wont get with a "virtual agent".
