After some long delays the long awaited and much welcome investment in Stoke on Trent’s city centre (Hanley) is well underway. The building work on Hanley’s new stunning bus station started earlier in the year (March 2011) and we are looking forward to it being finished by autumn 2012. This is going to be a true landmark building and is the first phase of the £350 million development that will include a new shopping centre, cafes, restaurants, multi-screen cinema and hotel. This is a very welcome boost that will transform a rundown part of the city centre and can only improve the local economy which in turn will be good for Landlords as the Potteries becomes a more desirable place to live and work
