Even in this tough economic climate we are still seeing investment in the Stoke area with the new multi £m bus station being just the first phase of a £350m development of the city centre. In the potteries alone, as a result of the regeneration programme, it is expected that the population will increase by around 20,000 by the year 2020. Over the next number of years regeneration will improve the area for residents and businesses. Local authority plans are in place so that by 2017 Stoke on Trent will be a diverse and thriving city and will create 5,000 jobs over the next five years and 25,000 in the long term.
We always have tenants registered looking for good quality, newer 2, 3 and 4 bed houses in all areas. There is always demand in the Hartshill and Penkhull areas for nice 1, 2 and 3 bed properties, due in part to the significant investment in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and as we are part of the NHS Staff Discount Scheme we are able to attract NHS staff. Modern apartments are also very popular, and unlike some areas, demand still outstrips supply for good quality, well located flats and apartments available to rent. 2 and 3 bed semi-detached properties in the more popular areas such as Birches Head, Sneyd Green, Etruria, Basford and Newcastle along with other areas are letting very quickly and we always have high demand.

"As a landlord that was new to the area, I felt reassured by the professionalism of Mark and his team from Martin & Co after doing all my research with other letting agents in the area. 18 months on and I know I made the right choice. Rents paid on the day of receipt from tenants. Tenant's feedback is also first class. Everyone's a winner"
