Managing Director - Nigel

 

Nigel is responsible for the day to day running and development of the office, ensuring that the office remains at all times efficient, effective and customer driven. Nigel is an award winning agent with over 15 years experience within the property industry and is always available to new and existing landlords offering his expert advice on the Private Rented Sector, current legislative responsibilities, market conditions as well as landlord responsibilities during tenancy.

 

Property Manager - Fay

 

Fay is directly responsible for day-to-day property management to all of our properties. Fay's principle responsibility is to ensure all management issues from both tenant and landlord are dealt with quickly and effectively to ensure both parties remain happy throughout their tenancy agreement.

 

 Lettings Coordinator - Kate

Working in our industry for over 4 years Kate has extensive experience in the property industry.  As a member of the family, Kate has been based in our Southampton Shirley office throughout her career.

Lettings Negotiator - Hannah

Hannah has extensive experience within the lettings industry.  Prior to joining Martin & Co Southampton Shirley, Hannah was responsible for running a large property mangement department covering the whole of Southampton, Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford and Winchester at a leading lettings company.

 

Hannah is very proud to be an Army Cadet instructor.

 

Marketing & Administration  - Guy and James

 

Guy and James are not customer facing but look after the important back office operations with particular responsibilities for on - line marketing such as Google, Facebook and Twitter. These functions are now becoming a major part of the business as on - line marketing is now the main source of business. They are also assisting other offices along the South Coast within the Martin & Co group with this important funcionality.

Southampton is a diverse City which is continuing to grow in population and prosperity.  The West Quay shopping centre opened in 2000 and has since made Southampton the central place for shopping in the South.  The centre, along with other improvements, has drawn people from all over the South of England to come and enjoy everything it has to offer.

 

Two and three bedroom houses are in constant demand because a lot of families who move to the area are finding it difficult to buy.  This means the lease market is currently thriving with properties in a central location, flying off our books.  There are great public transport links, with a fast train leaving direct to London every thirty minutes from Southampton Central Train Station and Southampton Parkway.  Southampton provides easy reach to destinations such as Northern England, Scotland, France, the Netherlands, Spain and the Channel Islands via Southampton Airport.  Flybe operate many flights from the local airport as well as a number of other airlines.

 

Southampton University has brought a lot of students to the area so there are loads of cheap nights out at the various bars and clubs. Oceana has just opened in the Odeon Leisure World Cinema Complex and is the largest of the chain in the entire country.  

 

Southampton is located within easy reach of the New Forest and has excellent transport links to the Isle of Wight via Red Funnel Isle of Wight Ferries? ferries located in Southampton docklands.
