Martin & Co Shrewsbury

Martin & Co Shrewsbury Lettings & Sales agent received the Gold award for Best Letting Agent in the West Midlands. Voted for by our Landlords and recognised for our excellent customer service during the course of 2011. The award was announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert at a lavish luncheon & ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane London attended by 550 of the UK s top estate and letting agents.

Phil Spencer said The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry. An ESTA is not an easy accolade to pick up; to win one requires a lot of hard work, over a very long period of time.

Simon Brown, owner of the awards added Agents that take part in the ESTAS believe passionately in providing the highest quality customer service. They are prepared to go that extra mile, prepared to take criticism as well as praise and prepared to invest and develop their businesses accordingly .

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent, with Martin & Co's letting agents in Shrewsbury coming out on top. Over 33,000 votes were received making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry.

Simon Collyer and Tracie Proudley both directors at the Martin & Co Shrewsbury estate and letting agents are absolutely delighted to have won the Gold award at the ESTAS. The awards means so much because it s our Landlords who have rated us not a judging panel. We pride ourselves on high levels of customer service as this award shows we must be getting it right!

My young family and i have recently come to the end of our tenancy agreement with Martin & Co. We would like to take this opportunity to say that the Shrewsbury branch of Martin & Co are second to none! Issue or simple query alike, Simon, Tracie and the team were incredibly efficient and swift in responding no matter how big or small it may have been. They really made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble for them, and with juggling a young family it really put our minds at ease. We honestly could not recomend the team at Shrewsbury enough. Thank you Simon and Tracie for assisting us in making many fantastic memories for our children in the time that we were at the property.

The friendliest letting agents in existence! My girlfriend and I are renting a house via Martin and Co in Shrewsbury, and at every step of the journey, all 3 members of staff have been incredibly helpful.Firstly, they are flexible around viewing times and answer all questions promptly. They will happily show you around a property more than once!Sorting out payments with them was easy and they are very transparent about the entire lettings process. They also provide you with all of the information you may possibly need about payments and terms. The communication received from Martin & Co Shrewsbury is second to none. Friendly, helpful, and even a good laugh! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Over the past four years Simon & Tracey have provided a superb managed service. From a landlords perspective they are second to none and have consistently found excellent tenants for our properties. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have known Tracy and Simon now for 5 years after they let my house for me and I can truly say what a friendly and professional team they are, I have also used them as a tenant and again the same service. I will be renting my house next year and will not go anywhere else. First class service.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team. They found me a tenant within ONE week after struggling with another agent to get even viewings. As a team they are dynamic, enthusiastic and more than helpful, a breath of fresh air to be honest, if Carlsberg made letting agents.......! Lou Alden-Court

I have used Martin & Co Shrewsbury for the last 2 years, both as a tenant and a landlord. They are friendly and approachable and it always appears as if nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They've even been know to work on a Sunday....!

The area

Shrewsbury, Shropshire - Birth place of Charles Darwin

The town centre is packed with timber-framed black & white buildings, steep narrow streets and alleyways.

In fact it boasts over 600 listed buildings including the Castle, now a regimental museum and the world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael.

Charles Darwin was born and educated in Shrewsbury and all around you will find reminders of his association with the town.

The River Severn forms a loop around the town centre offering gentle riverside walks or you can enjoy a trip on the new pleasure boat Sabrina.

Next to the river you can relax in the beautiful Quarry Park., location for the annual Shrewsbury Flower Show.

Shrewsbury is the birthplace of Charles Darwin. He was born in the area of Frankwell at a house called The Mount and was educated at Shrewsbury School.

Shrewsbury has a population of around 100,000, set in the glorious Shropshire countryside close to the Welsh Borders. It has an interesting history but is now a diverse place for vistors and residents alike.

The majority of our tenants within the Shrewsbury area are young professionals workingwithin Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas however we do have tenants who rent in Shrewsbury but commute as far afield as Birmingham. Shrewsbury is fast becoming the town of choice for young professionals, families and people enjoying retirement, with a vibrant night life, award winning restaurants and surrounded by glorious country-side, Shrewsbury is a town in demand!
