During 2013 and due to increased requests for us to do so, Martin & Co launched an innovative and affordable sales offering to sit alongside and compliment our established lettings business.

Phil Watson - Managing Director. A landlord and property investor since 2000, Phil has completed the 12 month Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management and is a full member of ARLA / the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFOPP).
More recently he completed his Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership at Liverpool Hope University and is now a qualified Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
His career began in the Royal Air Force, followed by several years working within the Telecommunications Industry in a strategic management role. Following a number of bad experiences at the hands of estate agents 'managing' his properties, he decided to follow his passion for property investment and set up in business in 2006 as a Specialist Letting Agent.
Dawn Taylor - Operations Director, is a qualified member of ARLA and the NAEA, has over twenty years experience in sales, lettings and property management (we are not allowed to say exactly how long this experience is!) and provides a wealth of knowledge to the business.
David Bentley – Accountant, is extremely qualified with over 20 years experience of book keeping, accounts and more recently and importantly receipting rents, reconsiling our client account and paying our landlords / contractors!
Martin & Co employ dedicated Administrators, Lettings Negotiators, Property Managers and Property Management Assistants. Each have a wealth of local knowledge and regularly attend both internal and external Martin & Co UK Ltd training courses.

North Manchester, Rochdale, Middleton & Bury in particular have it all; countryside, green open spaces with lovely parks and walks in addition to great connections via public transport and the M60/62 to Manchester / Leeds.
There are several plans afoot for exciting new developments in the area which will bring fresh opportunity and people to the locality. For example the proposals to redevelop part of Rochdale Town Centre have just secured a £250 million injection of funding. The plans include a new leisure centre (complete), new council offices (complete), new bus and metrolink depot / tram line (complete) and in the pipeline, new department stores, retail outlets, a hotel and opening up the River Roch!
For the moment the £315 million, 420 acre Kingsway Business Park is proving to be one of the major new employers in the area with Vindon Scientific, Takeuchi Mfg and CR Laurence employing countless professionals. The park is currently under construction and has 30 hectors of natural corridor space which promotes the natural diversity of the habitat.
The redevelopment of The Rock in Bury with its cinema, bowling, shopping and restaurants has also helped to breath life into the area and the expansion of the metrolink for access to Manchester City Centre and Oldham can only help to bring wealth to the area as those City workers who prefer to commute rather than live in the City are drawn to the high quality and affordable accomodation available here.
