The Reading estate & letting agents office can be found on the edge of Reading town centre, just a 10 minute walk from the Oracle shopping centre. This office was launched in August 2001 and has been running successfully ever since.

There’s a close network of Martin & Co estate agent offices in Berkshire, with Reading, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Wokingham & Caversham all working together to provide a great service for anyone looking to rent, buy or sell in the County.

Parma is the office Proprietor and has worked in the local housing market for over 15 years.

Sonia is our Office Manager, responsible for the smooth running of the office, including accounts.

Simon is the Property Manager and has worked in the Reading office for 7 years.

Lochlann is the Lettings Negotiator. Lochlann is responsible for matching potential tenants with their ideal property.

Reading Central is the home of the Oracle shopping centre which hosts over 90 retail shops and also includes many riverside restaurants and a 10 screen Vue cinema.

Schooling in the area is great with the highly regarded Reading University, Reading Boys Grammar School provides both day schooling and boarding. Then there’s the Kendrick Girls Grammar School which is one of the top schools throughout the whole of the UK.

Reading offers a great night life with a variety of fantastic bars, pubs and clubs located in the town centre, including Jamie Oliver’s Italian restaurant.

Other items of note are Reading Football Club, the annual Reading Music Festival - attended by over 80,000 people, and the Royal Berkshire Hospital. 

Reading also plays home to some of the biggest businesses in the world with the UK headquarters for Microsoft and the BG Group, as well as having the Weather Forecasting HQ, situated nearby. This may be why Reading has the lowest unemployment in the area.

There are fantastic links to London, via fast train (25 minutes) to Paddington.
