Norwich  was shortlisted a couple of years ago to  become the next UK  City of Culture, which would be a deserved accolade given the multitudinous attractions it has. The Norwich Castle, Award Winning Shopping, leisure activities, festivals and relaxing green spaces are just a handful.  For the outdoors type it’s also a great place for walking and cycling. 

Norwich is steeped in history with many historic buildings and churches still standing; the iconic Norwich Cathedral is just one of these.  Norwich is quite clearly the capital of East Anglia and hence has a number of major employers.   It has a fantastic University which always features in the top 10 of universities in the UK, as well as a very highly regarded University Hospital and Research Centre. And don't forget, we have Norwich City FC who finished well in their first season back in the Barclays Premier League under the ownership of the indomitable, Delia Smith and the stewardship of the invincible, Paul Lambert.
