Directors
Neil and Lisa Williams are responsible for the efficient operation of Martin & Co Newport. Neil spent 15 years working for the National Statistics office in both Newport and London. A keen interest in property saw him build up a successful property development/buy to let company before setting up Martin & Co in 2006; he knew he could offer landlords and tenants a better service than they were currently receiving. Neil has a post grad degree (1st) in business and a Masters degree in business (MBA) from Cardiff University Business School. He is also qualified with the Chartered Insurance Institute for mortgage advice.
Branch Manager
Abi Phillips works closely with the Directors as well as supervising and motivating the team day to day. Abi has over 5 years experience with a national agent.
Lettings Department
In charge of letting your property fast. They liaise with landlords, conduct viewings, complete applicant referencing check and complete the signing of new tenancies.
Ann Wyatt is the office Senior Negotiator, and has over 5 years experience with a national agent and new build developers.
Rob Kelso is a Senior Negotiator, also dealing with appraisals, check outs and viewings as our Blackwood branch.
Kate Morgan is our Senior Appraiser, responsible for appraisals and negotiating, previously managed one of Newport and Cardiffs largest agent.
Faith Dent, Property administration, previously with the UKs largest Insurance company.
Sian Morgan, has more than 6 years experience managing a branch for another Newport agent.
Jess Meyer, Senior In-House Negotiator - more than 6 years experince with letting agents in Cardiff and Surrey
Louise Taylor, Property administration
Property Management Department
In charge of maintaining your property to a high standard, liaise with the tenants for routine inspections and routine maintenance. The team consists of:
Katie Williams, Property Manager, she has 5 years experience with Martin & Co and was previously with a major bank. Katie has a BA Honours.
Joelee Taylor, Property Management Administration, she too has over 5 years experience with two of Newports most established agents. NAEA qualified, Resedential Lettings and Management.
Accounts Department
Jo and Sam Martin are in charge of collecting deposits and rent, paying landlords and contractors, and returning deposits at the end of the tenancy. Also full accountancy service for the businesses.
