Landlords need to be aware of the pitfalls of relying on the types of tenancy agreements that I have referred to. It is always best practise to use a tenancy agreement that has been properly constructed and which has been checked by a solicitor. Failure to do this could potentially lead to the landlord being liable for a number of unexpected matters. This could not only come as a shock it could also prove to be expensive as well.
