The Leeds Pride Event, Sunday 3rd August 2014 -

The Leeds Pride Parade continues to grow into a major landmark celebration for the city and this year saw the city centre turned into a sea of rainbow flags as thousands of people gathered in Millennium Square to party, followed by a lively march through the streets accompanied by floats and a blizzard of confetti and bubbles.

There are three Martin & Co Offices within the Leeds boundary; Leeds City, Leeds North and Leeds East.  Our combined territory is quite diverse and we work together to provide an excellent letting service to our customers, and as individual businesses we have our own personalities, knowledge and expertise.

Leeds City accounts for around a third of all new jobs created by the UK's eight core cities.  Excellent employment opportunities means there is a continual demand for all properties from small studios to large penthouse apartments, from small terraces to large detached houses.  Described in the Lonely Planet Guide to Britain as "Knightsbridge of the North" it’s one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan cities in Britain, hosting thriving night life, fine architecture, rich cultural heritage, lively arts, world class sport, and regular major events and exhibitions.  Leeds is also ranked as one of the UK's top five retail destinations drawing thousands of people to the area.

Many of our Landlords live outside the city.  Some have multiple properties in the same area, some have multiple properties but scattered around England, and then there are those who have a single investment property.  All are equally important and we encourage them to keep their investment in good order. This way they will get the best return and good tenants.

The rental market is in a very good place and we have clients constantly calling to request viewings.  We can always work with more properties and would encourage any Landlord to give us a try.  We work on a window of less than four weeks from viewing to move in but many new enquirers become tenants within one to two weeks.  The best was within a few hours!
