Lancing lettings agency
We have been established in the local area since 2003. 2012 saw a new owner yet we are still in the same place and have the same face! We are on a busy high street, near to Worthing central station and the town centre, very easily accessible by train, bus or car and have customer parking on our own forecourt.
Our lettings service covers Lancing, Sompting, Worthing, Ferring, Goring-by-Sea, Durrington, Tarring, Offington, Broadwater, Heene, Findon, Salvington, Charmandean, Storrington and Steyning.
We are specialist letting agents, concentrating 100% on our landlords and tenants. We are not an estate agent ‘who also does lettings’. We work with the best local contractors to manage our landlord’s properties. They are all interviewed and screened before they become approved contractors. We hold on file their insurance details and professional qualifications which must always be up to date before they are given work. Our landlords are therefore confident that we give them the best possible property management service.
Martin & Co provides services for every type of landlord ranging from buy to let investors with single or multiple properties, corporate clients with large portfolios and we have a large number of ex-patriots who maintain their UK residence whilst living abroad. Some of our investment landlords have never seen their property since it is possible to entrust the entire purchase, refurbishment, letting and managing process to us.
We advertise on RightMove, Find a Property & Prime Location, in addition to Martin & Co.

Live and rent in Lancing
Lancing is sometimes affectionately referred to as the largest village in England. It is home to the prestigious Lancing College and Shoreham Airport which also hosts Northbrook College (Aeronautical). It is a peaceful residential area frequently chosen by people working in Brighton since the cost of renting here is significantly less than Brighton. It has a busy shopping centre and a mainline railway station. Sompting is a popular residential location near Lancing.
Lancing is situated at the foot of the South Downs, about 8 miles (13 km) west of Brighton and about 25 miles (40 km) to the southwest of Gatwick International Airport. In 2002, the village had an estimated population of 19 000. It has a mainline station with frequent fast trains to London Victoria, Brighton, Portsmouth and Gatwick Airport and is served by the A24 and A27/M23, leading to the M25. Consequently, it is firmly in the commuter belt and is a sought after location due to its sea front and surrounding Nature Reserves and countryside. Lancing is a fantastic place for old and young alike.
Lancing has a wide range of employers as diverse as general engineering, printing, IT, marine, aeronautical and various research and development companies.
Lancings’ education system includes The Sir Robert Woodard Academy which is a mixed comprehensive, many pre-schools and three primary schools. In the north-east of the parish on the Downs lies Lancing College, a prestigious independent school and major landmark.
