Lancaster lettings agency

The Lancaster office was opened in 2008 by husband and wife team Simon and Sally Davies, covering the Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham area.  We also work closely with the Martin & Co office in neighbouring Preston, sharing codes of best practice and client leads.  We are members of NALS, the local BNI, Lancaster Chamber of commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses, working to build strong relationships with local businesses.

The Lancaster team

Simon and Sally Davies are the franchisees and owners of the office.  They are a dedicated partnership, determined to provide a quality service to the tenants and landlords of Lancaster.  They are hands on and are actively involved in the day to day running of the business.

 

Sarah Kellett is our Property Management Coordinator, as such she is responsible for assisting with the management of the property portfolio, coordinating between landlords tenants and contractors in order to ensure smooth running and stress free tenancies for tenants and landlords, together with assisting with the management of property maintenance issues.

 

Lyndsey Mawson is one of our latest members of the team and has joined in the role of Lettings Coordinator, with industry experience including negotiator roles she is ideal for bringing tenancies together, along with helping with enquiries from future tenants and landlords.

 

Rosie Thomas is another of our new recruits. With over twenty years experience in the estate agency field around the area, Rosie has already held positions including Senior Negotiator and Branch Manager. Rosie was most recently employed by Entwistle Green Lettings and was involved in all aspects of lettings. As a Senior Lettings Negotiator Rosie will be working with both landlords and tenants to ensure landlord’s void periods are kept to a minimum and tenants are matched to the appropriate property type according to their personal requirements 

Live and rent in Lancaster

The beautiful city of Lancaster is situated by the River Lune, close to the Lake District. It is a historic city with many period features such as the Lancaster Castle and two Cathederals.

 

We are always in need of good quality family homes, a solid investment for landlords because families usually take on longer leases.  We have a steady stream of tenants because of the local hospitals and universities.  Many students, doctors and hospital staff look for accommodation close to work so there is a great need for apartments, particularly through the summer period.  

 

We have a varied landlord profile including buy to let investors both locally and from overseas.  Recently we have acquired more accidental landlords who have moved from the area but are forced to keep their property and rent it out. The letting market is booming in the current climate and we have a range of tenants from young families to retried couples living in Lancaster.  Often renting your property can be a great way to hold on to your investment until the market balances out again.
