Huddersfield lettings agency

The Huddersfield office is situated on St Peter’s street, in a central location near many other property agents. The office opened in Autumn 2009 and is now one of Huddersfields leading Letting Agents.

The Huddersfield team

Our office is owned by William Taylor and Alex Barron. They have a wealth of experience in the lettings industry, and have both worked for the largest independent agent in Leeds.

 

William is from the Huddersfield area therefore has great knowledge of the area. He comes from an academic background – having studied (to masters level) at Sheffield University.

 

Alex has gained a lot of local knowledge over the past year and is competent with the local area. Testimonials that have been assembled confirm that they produce a higher level of service than their competitors.

Live and rent in Huddersfield

Huddersfield is surrounded by breathtaking countryside, and the town, which is steeped in history, is famous for its vast amount of spectacular Victorian architecture – in fact it has the third highest number of listed buildings for any town or city in the UK. Huddersfield is also well known for having played a big part in the Industrial Revolution, and for being the birthplace of Rugby League.

 

Within this rural town there are a variety of parks and walks, not to mention the fantastic Tolson Museum, and the magnificent Victoria Tower on Castle Hill. Unfortunately the nightlife is fairly tame, but the award winning train station provides easy access to Leeds and Manchester, and just about anywhere you want to go in the country. There’s also good access to the M1 and M62, which is close to Manchester, Leeds and Bradford airports.

 

We are typically short of apartments. Huddersfield has a limited number of developments and as such supply to demand is low.  We have a lot of local landlords who want a retirement fund, and some buy to let investors. A large number of our tenants are families typically on low budgets, or young couples. However, the properties in the area are relatively affordable.
