It's official! Gravesham is one of the top 50 places to live in this country.
The borough has been listed in the Halifax Quality of Life survey ahead of areas such as Bromley and Bexley and is ranked 49th out of 405 areas.
Each year the survey tracks where living standards are highest in the UK, looking at indicators such as the local housing market, the labour market, education, health, the environment and transport links.
This is the first time that Gravesham has appeared in the top 50 and a Gravesham Borough Council spokesman said "It is good that some of Gravesham's improvements are recognised in this sort of survey".
