For schooling, Gravesend Grammar and St John's are both highly rated schools to the south and east of Gravesend.

Gravesend has a huge number of places to eat at reasonable prices. From cafes providing traditional fare to Indian restaurants for more exotic tastes. The surrounding villages have a number of country-style pubs providing good beer and food.
Gravesend provides affordable rents with great transport links for those working in London - just 18 minutes to St Pancras on the new High Speed train service. This is proving to be a major draw for those wanting to escape the hectic London living and live in a vibrant town still surrounded by countryside. And, for that special weekend away, Paris is just over 2 hours away on the Eurostar!
Guru Nanak Gurdwara (Sikh temple) has been funded by the Sikh community in Gravesend.
The town has a renovated traditional cast iron pier with restaurant which was used greatly during Victorian times when Gravesend was a holiday destination for Londoners.
There is a promenade along the banks of the Thames with Gordon (of Khartoum) Park nearby and modern apartments surround the canal basin with the local sailing club nearby. Windmill Hill affords far reaching views from Canary Wharf and beyond right out into the Thames Estuary.
Bluewater Shopping Centre is close by, with its famous shopping mall and landscaped grounds making it one of the most visited shopping centres in the UK. A new conference,event and exhibition centre is due to open shortly at Bluewater.
Dartford is a traditional market town that has big plans for regeneration of the town centre as well as the development of 1,500 new homes within sight of the Queen Elizabeth bridge. There is a brand new primary school at the development and free transport on Fastrack Route A for residents to Dartford town centre and Bluewater.
Greenhithe is a riverside residential area with the traditional centre being near the banks of the River Thames. Modern developments nearby include the much praised Ingress Park with Ingress Abbey and its grounds. Greenhithe is also very close to Bluewater for all the shopaholics!
Transport links are excellent for all areas with the High Speed One train service from Ebbsfleet International and Gravesend town stations; road links nearby include the A2/M2 and M25 with the Dartford River Crossing being 6 miles from the town centre.
For landlords: Well presented family homes with two or three bedrooms are always in demand and we anticipate greater demand for quality one and two bedroom flats as more and more people migrate from London to the area.
Our tenants are varied with some moving from London to the area or others taking their first steps away from the family home in the area. The tenants of our larger properties are usually families.
