The Grantham team

The franchise is owned by Philip Connor who is also the owner of the Newark franchise.  Philip has many years experience in the lettings business and is a Landlord himself.

 

Emma Connor is the branch manager and deals with tenancy renewals for both the Grantham and Newark offices. 

 

Christine Edwards is our property manager and administrator. She has worked for a number of lettings agencies over the years. Chris is experienced in dealing with all areas of property management. 

 

Frances Hibbett is our office junior. She is enthusiastic and keen to learn everything she can about the lettings business.

 

 

Live and rent in Grantham

Grantham is located on the River Witham, in the county of Lincolnshire, approximately 120 miles north of London and 25 miles south of Lincoln.

The town has a population of around 35,500 and is within the South Kesteven District which covers an area of approximately 364 square miles and which has a total population of around 120,000.

Surrounded by agricultural land towards the western side of the Kesteven uplands, it is an ancient and attractive red-brick town, with the 281ft high spire of St.Wulfram's Church one of its dominating features.

Grantham's historical strategic significance ensured a turbulent past but in more recent times it has become renowned as the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher, Britain's first woman prime minister. With good rail and road links, it is a major transport hub for the region.

Historically the town's economy was based upon engineering and manufacturing, and this continues today with its diverse range of manufactured products including textiles, food, timber and plastics. High-tech and service sector industries have grown rapidly in recent years with tourism also on the increase.

The name Grantham probably means 'village (ham) of a man called Granta' in Old English.
