 After a very successful 5 years, Mike & Mary Newman (directors of Martin & Co Gosport) are looking forward to the next five!

Carol Taylor -  deals with all new business, so if you are considering becoming a landlord, Carol has years of experience in the property industry and can give you expert advice on the Property Rental Sector, such as which areas locally tenants want to live.  She also can offer up to date information on the  latest market conditions.  She has previously worked for another Martin & Co office in the South and  lives locally in the Gosport area. 

 

Joanna -  is our Property Manager dealing with property issues, she is a member of ARLA, and has her  NFOPP qualification for Residential Lettings & Property, so is up to date with all legislation, 

 

Frances - works on the rent account payments in the office.

 

Lisa -  mainly deals with viewings and has over 25 year’s experience in the property industry within the Gosport .

Gosport is a very popular place for people to live, it is continuing to grow in population and prosperity. It has drawn people to live in the area with it's very popular waterside properties.

 Martin & Co Gosport have let a large number of brand new properties on the waterside development at Royal Clarence Marina available for rent .

 

Gosport has a strong Military and Navy presence. Our major employers in the Gosport area are the Military of Defence (MOD), Air Traffic Control (NATS), The Office for National Statistics (ONS), Boeing & Quinitec. We have placed a number of employees in executive properties.

 

There are good schools and colleges all over the Gosport area. A lot of families are particularly keen to move to Alverstoke , because this is the catchment area for Bay House School, (a Senior School with excellent academic results).

 

The main line train station is close by at Portsmouth, it has direct links to London and can be accessed via the Gosport ferry at Portsmouth Harbour station.  There are also ferries available  to the Isle of Wight and France. Within an hours travel by road, you can reach Southampton and Winchester, along with the lovely areas of the New Forest and the South Downs.
