The Gloucester business is owned by Peter & Rani Grieve who also own the highly successful Worcester business of Martin & Co. With nearly 50 years combined experience within the team in residential and commercial property management, our local knowledge is second to none and our team are all trained to a very high standard. We also work closely with the Cheltenham office and have a small office in Malvern.
Meet the Team
Peter Grieve - Director - Peter is a director of numerous residential developments, he is a business property consultant and provides investment and acquisition advice to our investor landlords. Peter is deputy chairman of BII. His vast experience in commercial and residential property has helped establish Martin & Co as letting agent of choice.
Rani Grieve - Director- Rani launched the hugely successful and award winning Worcester Martin & Co Franchise in May 2008 with her husband Peter. The Gloucester franchise was added to the business in February 2010. Rani manages the admin team in both the Worcester & Gloucester offices, she is responsible for all lettings, property management and our multiple landlords. Rani takes great pride in the business consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
Adam Sambell - Lettings Negotiator - Adam has more than 4 years experience in the property sector within a busy sales and lettings environment. He has sound local knowledge of the Gloucestershire area and is very aware of market trends. Adam is responsible for the effective marketing of our properties for rent, conducting accompanied viewings and securing quality tenants.
Suzanne Henry - Property Manager - Suzanne has many years experience in the lettings sector having previously worked in administration and property management in a number of roles in Gloucestershire. Suzanne is responsible for the overall property management process, inspections, check-in/outs, contractor amangement and liaison with landlords & tenants with regard to all property management issues.
Alison Batchelor - Bookkeeper & Financial Assistant - Alison provides in-house bookkeeping, accountancy and financial support, she is also responsible for the rental receipt and payment process, credit control and financial liaison with our landlords.
Graham Jell – Financial Accountant – Ridge House provide full accountancy and bookkeeping services to the three offices.
Gloucester is located on the eastern bank of the River Severn. It has the gentle hillsides of the Cotswolds to the east, the Forest of Dean to the west and the Malvern Hills to the north.
If your looking for a bite to eat then The Wharf House Waterside Restaurant is a great place to dine! Being set in the perfect riverside location you can explore the Visitor Center and Canal Basin and work up an appetite for the delectable dishes using only the best of local produce.
There are many attractions in and around Gloucester including the 'Cheese Rollers annual downhill chase' which takes place on Coopers Hill. Gloucester Cathedral is the place where 'Harry Potter' was filmed, and if old ships and boats are a point of interest for you, then the Maritime Museum is definitely the place to visit.
Other places of interest include the Kingsholm Rugby Ground; host to the 1991 Rugby World Cup, this stadium can seat 16,500 Rugby fans, if sport is not your thing then there is always the annual 'Gloucester in the park' festival to look forward too.
Gloucester is just minutes from the M5 (junctions 9-11) and a mere 10 minutes from the Spa Town of Cheltenham. It is close to the M5 & M50 and Gloucester Railway station has a direct train link to London Paddington with First Great Western.
